Sometimes you just want a good, frozen margarita. Why not try out this easy recipe for my famous Marquisrita. That’s pronounced Mar-Key-Rita, and said just as fast as margarita. Did I lose you? I can’t take the credit for this perfect name, that credit will have to go to our friend, Mike.

What’s great about a frozen margarita is it’s simple to make and refreshing. It’s a very basic “1, 2, 3” recipe. This is for a frozen one, so if you’re looking for an “on the rocks” recipe, you’ll find it here.

Want to make a great frozen margarita? The secret is in your blender. When we first made Marquisritas in college, formerly club ‘MUTS’ (Margaritas Under The Sun) we were using a very basic blender. So basic, that it wouldn’t even break the ice. Many years later, we upgraded to our KitchenAid 5-Speed Silver Blender. It’s fantastic and crushes ice in seconds.

Want some fruit in your drink, like strawberries? Do the same as above, except switch out the lime concentrate for lemonade concentrate and add about a handful and a half of frozen strawberries, and blend.
