Sugar Cookies

Cookies

When I was younger, I probably had one of the most basic taste pallets. My favorite ice cream flavor was vanilla (and so is my husband). I would take all the meat off my sandwiches to just eat the mayo and bread. Till this day, I wipe off 99% of the frosting off before I eat a cupcake. What can I say, I was and am still a simple person. My taste buds have changed and I have tried many new things in the recent years. But there is still one guilty pleasure I can’t give up, and that’s a sugar cookie.

Sugar Cookies

I cannot tell you how much I love sugar cookies and many family members think I’m crazy for it. Brian is a chocolate chip fan and that’s pretty much the only cookie we eat. So you can imagine to my excitement when one of our closet friends, Edwin, asked us to bake some sugar cookies for an event he was attending. It was pure joy coming home and smelling the sweet scent of sugar cookies baking in the oven. I have never loved Brian more. That 15 hour stressful workday melted away with my first bite. So this is my PSA to the world don’t forget about the sugar cookie this holiday season because their simplicity is delicious! And so is this recipe!
