Once in a while, a delicious cocktail will inspire us on a journey to recreate it. Last year, we went to the Meatball shop right after its grand opening on the upper east side. There, Fatima had Huckleberry Tea: a combination of huckleberry vodka, iced tea, and fruit juice. When we asked our waitress how to make it, she said all you need is 44 North Huckleberry Vodka. Who knew they even made Huckleberry-infused vodka!
BEWARE: the vodka tastes nothing like vodka. While a slight burn upon consumption, you’d think you were drinking liquid candy. While the drink we had at the Meatball Shop was on fleek, we wanted to sweeten the deal. After calling a bunch of liquor stores in our area, I found one that not only sold Huckleberry Vodka, but also had it in stock! We paired this with some fresh lemonade and fresh berries (the berries are optional of course). We ended up making a very refreshing Huckleberry Lemonade.

- Fresh berries for garnish
