I’m not sure if Cookie Monster would react like this, but it’s a reaction I’d hope to get if he saw these Cookie Dough Cupcakes.
As you’ve read on many posts before, I love cookie dough. I think I might like it more than the actual cookie. Yes, consuming raw cookie dough is not advised. However, I think everyone should try their cookie dough before baking cookies. If you like the taste of the dough, then you’ll (more often than not) love your baked cookies.
If you want to make these delicious cookie dough cupcakes, all you have to do is add some edible cookie dough to your batter right before you place it in the oven. We posted our edible cookie dough in our Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffle recipe. What makes the dough edible? Being egg-free.
Drop some cake batter in the cupcake tins before adding cookie dough. Roll small balls of dough and place them in the center of the batter. Fill in the rest of the cupcake tins to normal fill (about 3/4 full of batter). Some of the batter didn’t cover the cookie dough, so I just spooned in some batter to cover up the dough.
